I take a highly collaborative approach to therapy, and I am a strong believer that therapists should never practice in isolation. I am dedicated to staying actively engaged with colleagues and the professional organizations listed above.
I receive weekly support through clinical consultation with peers and mentors, I attend trainings regularly to keep my skills sharpened and my knowledge up-to-date, and I enjoy volunteering to give back to the professional organizations I benefit so much from. I also attend my own personal therapy so that I can take care of my emotional health and provide my clients with the best care possible.

Couples struggling with disconnection, constant arguing, trust issues, and/or sex and intimacy

Background:
I was a musician before I became a therapist. Playing the bassoon and pursuing a higher education in music performance definitely shaped who I am as a person and gave me an appreciation for the arts and the intensity of having a career in music.
I’ve lived in lots of different states including Texas, Virginia, Utah, Michigan, Florida, Colorado, and Illinois. When I’m not working, I try to enjoy the lighter things in life like comedy, listening to podcasts, going to movies, and watching reality TV with my husband and our two cats, Mabel and Norm. You might see Mabel and Norm pop into sessions from time to time! I also really love being an aunt to my eight dynamic, creative, intelligent, full-of-life nieces and nephews.
Since moving to Chicago in 2021, I’ve had a great time getting to know the city - there’s an unending amount of art, architecture, food, culture, music, and beauty to take in. My most recent hobby is flower gardening, which brings me a lot of much-needed joy, beauty, and hope in this world!
